Healing is for everyone, all are welcome here

Healing is not a one-size-fits-all journey. Through my therapeutic services, I create a specialized, culturally sensitive environment where individuals from all walks of life feel heard, safe, and supported.

Who I Work With

  • Adults: Processing life transitions, career burnout, or the lingering effects of past trauma.

  • Elders: Finding peace and purpose while navigating grief, loss, or the unique challenges of later life stages.

Culturally Informed Care

As a provider of culturally informed therapy, I understand the importance of cultural nuance, family dynamics, and the specific stressors that can impact our community. Your heritage and background are honored parts of our work together.

Alliances & Advocacy

You don’t have to explain your identity here—you just have to be yourself. I am a dedicated ally to those who often feel unseen by traditional systems:

  • LGBTQ+ Allied: A celebratory and affirming space for all gender identities and sexual orientations.

  • Single Mothers: I recognize the unique weight you carry and provide a judgment-free zone to process the complexities of solo parenting.

  • Racial Justice Allied: Committed to understanding and addressing the impact of systemic oppression and racial trauma on mental well-being.

Trauma

When a therapist specializes in trauma care, they move beyond traditional "talk therapy" to address how traumatic events are physically and mentally stored in the body. They don't just ask, "How does that make you feel?"—they work to help the nervous system feel safe again.

Loss

Processing loss is about more than just "getting over it"; it’s about integration. Whether it’s the death of a loved one, the sting of a layoff, or the disorientation of losing a sense of self, a therapist provides a structured environment to handle the weight of that change.

Grief

I help you navigate the heavy waves of grief by providing tools to manage triggers and a compassionate space to process your pain. Together, we’ll work toward a place where you can carry your memories with peace instead of overwhelming distress.

I also support clients with Self-Esteem • Life Transitions • Relationship Stress • Spirituality • Depression • Anxiety• Fear • Obsessive Patterns

Treatment Modalities

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): A specialized, evidence-based technique designed to take the "sting" out of traumatic memories, allowing your brain to finally resume its natural healing process.

  • IFS-Informed (Internal Family Systems): An approach that explores the different "parts" of your personality—helping you understand the voices of your inner critic or your protective instincts with curiosity and compassion.

  • CBT & TF-CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy): Practical tools to help you identify and reshape negative thought patterns, specifically tailored to help you (or your teen) recover from the impact of trauma.

  • Mindfulness: Grounding practices that help you stay present in your body and mind, reducing the power of "what if" anxiety and daily stress.

  • Person-Centered: A philosophy that places you in the driver’s seat. This is your journey; I am here to provide the safe, non-judgmental environment you need to explore it.
